I am still surviving in the corperate world of Fosters, making the reserve red wines for Rosemount. Not a bad gig living in McLaren Vale, I have just come back from having fish and chips on the beach and watching the sunset. Its been hot today ... about 35C and very dry. Its great to watch the daughter run in the surf and chase the gulls. Vintage is just about to hit again, we will be doing some sparkling base next week, and then slowly into some early Chardonnay. I hope this vintage is normal and we dont have the heat waves we suffered last year. I also managed to do a vintage in Spain last year, but once again, due to lots of mould it will not go down as a great vintage either. Lost of fun though, including the 2 weeks I spent in France ( Bordeaux / Burgundy ). Hope things are well with you and the family. Andrew Hi ya Chris
