This is the initial release for the Dowsett Family Winery.  The fruit was grown in the 1984 block of the beautiful Celilo Vineyard.

We love a dry Gewurz, and what food you can pair with it.  I made my first home wine (with my parents) in the Harvest of 1983, and it was a Gewurztraminer.  This is our only white wine and there are only 100 cases.  The 2007 is a full-bodied, dry white wine that has the acidity to stand up to an amazing array of food pairings.  Try this wine with spicy Thai, fresh seafood, or just a glass and some hard cheese.

In Oregon, our wines are carried by D’vine Distribution, ask for it at your local wine shop or restaurant.

    I am sorry, but we cannot currently ship overseas. I would love to get some to any other Dowsetts, but you are a little far away! I have heard from people in Chicago and the Eastern US with the same name.

    All Dowsetts on the West Coast of the US seem to be very closely related.

    Sorry I did not get back to you faster!
    We are actually distributed by Vineyard Road in the Boston area. They are very good if you are looking for some of the wine, and we just sent a new shipment over.
